It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating Memorial Day and looking forward to what summer 2014 had in store. But alas, we are almost there, the unofficial end of summer. Americans took to the highways and airways in massive numbers on Friday to kick off one last weekend of summer fun.
Labor Day is such a wonderful time, as families squeeze out the last bit of summer vacation before getting back into the swing of a rigorous school or work schedule. Here in Scottsdale we don’t experience a major drop in temperature until a bit later in the year, but we do begin to spend more time at home. Travel schedules are replaced by time at home and the Labor Day cook-out is a given.
