The Valley of the Sun offers spectacular scenery, mild winters and easy access to various amenities from fine dining and shopping to outdoor activities. It is an ideal area for relocation, retirement and to buy your custom dream home.
If you have thought about owning a custom home but are not sure where or how to buy one, let our team of professionals at Camelot Homes share a few tips.
There are different levels of customization when it comes to new homes.
Buying a semi-custom home means making several choices about key features, similar to building a pure custom home. Once you have decided to buy a semi-custom home, it is time to visit models in person to get an idea of how your new home will look and feel.
Often, what you will see in a model is a mix of the standard features and finishes that are available from the builder. Ask questions, get a feature sheet and learn what’s standard and which finishes are upgrades that will increase the final cost.
When buying any home, it is always best to visit the neighborhood first to determine if it will be a good fit for you and your family. Walk through the community and take note of its proximity to shopping, dining and entertainment. In non-custom communities, you may take a tour of any open model homes to see floor plans, design styles and finishes.
There is a level of trust that must be established when buying a custom home. Know your builder and their work. Camelot Homes is one of the oldest family-owned home builders in Arizona. We love creating beautiful luxury homes in some of the finest communities in the Valley. We will walk you through every step of the process, keeping it simple and hassle-free.
