The ultimate Camelot man cave- Verandahs at Silverleaf

Over the years we have addressed the multitude of possibilities for using the Bonus Room in your Camelot Home. As a premier luxury home builder in Arizona we are always delighted to see the enhancements made to our homes by the people who live in them. We have seen everything from home offices to Pilates studios, but today we would like to look at a far less industrious use for the extra room, and that is… wait for it… The Man Cave.

Without “caving’ to gender roles, it is safe to say that in some households the woman is the one making the bulk of the design decisions. The women are often the decision makers when it comes to design ideas for the home office or gym, the casita or guest rooms and most always on the nursery. But with regard to The Man Cave, this is the room where the man is the ultimate decision maker. The supreme master of the room in which he will be able to retreat and recharge.

For some men, The Man Cave may come in the form of an ultimate tv room; state-of-the-art television, surround sound, comfortable sofas and chairs for “quarterbacking.” A room like this is conducive to relaxation- the masculine manifestation of the, “Calgon take me away” bathtub…

In the case of a music lover, whether he makes music or simply relishes in listening to it, the musical Man Cave may have acoustic treatment panels on the walls, high quality monitors and a comfy listening chair or couch set-up exactly in the acoustic “sweet spot.” Not only is this a place where music is enjoyed, but also a luxurious, grown-up homage to the days of his garage band.
